It is being increasingly recognized throughout the World that Workplace Bullying is becoming an increasing problem. On more than one occasion significant workplace violence has been traced back to ongoing bullying in the Workplace. There are also numerous examples of domestic situations that also have workplace bullying within their etiology. If that was not enough we do not wish to measure the number of people who elect the alternative of suicide as a response to workplace bullying. What makes all of these scenarios even all the more distressing is people “always know”; we just choose not to talk about or choose not to intervene. The time has come to confront bullying in our workplaces. TransformationalSafety. Com's Workplace Bullying Assessment Protocol is amongst the worlds leading mechanisms for understanding the prevalence of bullying, and the associated workplace understandings around this critical negative set of workplace behaviours.
TransformationalSafety.Com utilizes its patented wireless data collection technologies to survey the maximum no of employees attitudes and observations with regard to workplace bullying. In environments where our wireless technologies are not appropriate we utilize the Internet based solutions available via LionSurveys.Com. Large sample data collection is only half of the equation though. In other words that is the quantitative component. Think of it as having created a Skeleton of these particular behaviours.
The related, and equally important, component of the Transformational Safety.Com Workplace Bullying Assessment Protocol are the Transformational Focus Groups. Within these randomized subsets of the workplace, our accredited facilitators conduct discussions around "understandings" of bullying. We do this to gain an appreciation on what the workplace generally consider to be bullying and what it does not.
The TransformationalSafety.Com Workplace Bullying Assessment Protocol also builds in an aspect of "triage". With our requirement to only use fully registered psychologists as Bullying Facilitators we incorporate elements that allow individual respondents access to the Facilitator for one-one discussions about bullying the might be experiencing - this too remains confidential. Naturally if the employee gives permission we shall discuss "issues" with the Managing Director/General Manager etc. To the best of our knowledge, there is no other Workplace Bullying Assessment Protocol that incorporates the Triage modality.
